When
As the Spit Point Lighthouse is still a functioning lighthouse,
access is by tour only. The lighthouse is open daily for
tours, weather permitting.
WEEKDAYS: Bookings required (minimum of
4 people)
WEEKENDS & SCHOOL/ PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
Tours begin on the hour, 10am-4pm (Summer), 11am-2pm (Winter)

Payments must be made in cash, as EFTPOS and credit card
facilities are currently unavailable. |

Other information:
Tours are taken with a maximum of 10 people, plus the lighthouse
Tour Guide.
A moderate level of fitness is required as the lighthouse climb
is quite strenuous.
Appropriate footwear must be worn. Thongs, sandals without heel
straps and high heels are not safe to wear in the lighthouse.
Due to telecommunication equipment housed in the lighthouse, we
do not recommend access for people with pacemakers or similar
medical technology.
Children must be 5 years and over to take a tour.
An adult must accompany all children under age 10.
Not recommended for participants who suffer vertigo or claustrophobia
